Utah falls to 8-2, 5-2 in the Pac-12 South. The Utes fall to 20-19-2 all-time against Arizona. The Utes are 19-24 in league games as a member of the Pac-12 Conference.
The Utes are 9-8 all-time in overtime games. Utah has played at least one overtime game each of the past seven seasons. The Utes played three overtime games last year, including two in double overtime (Oregon State and Stanford).
The Utes surpassed 400 total yards for the third time this season (442 yards).
Travis Wilson had his 16th career 200-yard passing game (20-for-31 for 219 yards, one INT) and his fifth this year. He threw for two touchdowns (2 and 59 yards) to bring his season total to 12 and his career total to 53. Wilson broke the school career record for total touchdowns with 73 (53 passing, 20 rushing), breaking the record of 72 set by Scott Mitchell (1987-89).
Devontae Booker had 145 yards rushing on 34 carries. He scored on a 1-yard touchdown run in the first quarter for his 11th TD of the season (tied for fifth-most all-time) and his 21 career rushing touchdowns puts him solely into fifth place all-time at Utah. It was Booker's 14th career 100-yard rushing game, tying the school record set by John White. He tied his season-high 34 carries for the third time this season. He also moved into fourth place in career carries at Utah (560, passing John White) and third place in career yards (2,773, passing Chris Fuamatu-Ma'afala). Booker also had 15 yards receiving (three catches) for 160 all-purpose yards.
Kenneth Scott caught a two-yard touchdown in the second quarter, his third touchdown reception of the season. He drew two pass interference penalties on the drive, bringing his season total to nine. He had three catches for 18 yards.
Joe Williams saw his most action at running back this season and had a career-high 37 yards on seven carries. He also caught three passes for 13 yards.
Harrison Handley caught a 59-yard touchdown reception on Utah's first drive of the second half. It was a career-long reception and his fourth touchdown of the year. He led Utah with 69 yards on two catches.
Britain Covey had 112 all-purpose yards, which included 10 rushing yards (one carry), 68 receiving yards (four catches) and 36 yards on kick returns (one return).
Andy Phillips made field goals of 34, 38 and 40 yards (3-for-3) and broke the Utah school record for career field goals made with 58. The previous record of 57 was set by Louie Sakoda (2005-08).
Brian Allen made his first career start at right corner. He made his first career interception in the third quarter.
Justin Thomas made his third interception of the season (also his career total) in the fourth quarter.
Marcus Williams led Utah with eight tackles (one TFL, one pass breakup).
