Last weekend, Utah took a 5-2 win over Washington State to capture its fifth consecutive victory and third straight Pac-12 Conference win. The Utes netted the doubles point and the first four singles points to easily take the match. The team victory was highlighted by all three freshmen taking straight-set singles matches, including Margo Pletcher, Alexia Petrovic and Jena Cheng.

Scouting Rice
Last time out, the Owls blanked No. 57 Tulane 4-0 at home on Mar. 31. Natalie Beazant leads Rice with 13 victories in 14 decisions this season, playing out of the No. 1 singles position. The senior claims No. 21 in the ITA singles poll. Rice will take on BYU in Provo Friday before facing off against the Utes Saturday.
