Utah raises its record to 6-1, 3-1 in the Pac-12. The Utes become bowl eligible for the third-straight season.

Oregon State was held to 297 total yards, the second time this season Utah has held its opponent under 300 yards (SUU). The Beavers were held to 55 yards in the first half with just one passing yard.

Utah had its second-straight game with a safety at the end of the first quarter after a misplayed Oregon State snap went out of the back of the end zone. Prior to this year the last Utah safety was in 2009.

Joe Williams returned to the team after a four-game absence to make his third start of the season at running back. He had his third career 100-yard rushing game (first of the season) with 179 yards on 34 carries. His 34 carries ties his career high and is tied for eighth all-time at Utah. Williams scored his first touchdown of the season on a five-yard run in the first quarter.

Troy Williams went 4-for-13 with 42 yards passing. He scored his fourth rushing touchdown of the season in the fourth quarter on an eight-yard rush. He ran for 40 yards on 15 carries in the contest.

Cory Butler-Byrd had 93 all-purpose yards: 54 rushing, 12 receiving, 27 kick return.

Raelon Singleton led Utah in receiving with 25 yards (1 catch).

Chase Hansen had his first career interception in the first quarter with a 24-yard return. Hansen led Utah with eight tackles, which included a sack and two tackles for loss.
