Providence, R.I.—University of Utah women's tennis had a strong showing in the second day at the Brown Classic. The Utes went 2-4 on the day in singles competition and 3-0 in doubles against Boston College.

Alexia Petrovic recorded a win in singles competition over Kylie Wilcox, 6-3, 6-2 and teamed with
Luisa Gerstner Da Rosa for a victory over Wilcox and Micayla Casella , 6-1.
Brianna Turley also recorded two wins on the day, as she defeated Lexi Borr, 2-1 Ret and joined with fellow Ute
Margo Pletcher for a doubles victory over Borr and Dasha Possokhova, 7-5.
Taylor Calton and
Jena Cheng also registered a victory on the day to complete the Utah doubles sweep, as they defeated Emily Safron and Asiya Dair, 6-3.

The Utes will wrap up fall play on Sunday as they face a combined team of Arkansas and Yale. To kick off the spring season, the Utes are scheduled to compete in the FGCU Invitational in Fort Myers, Fla. in January.
