"We are looking forward to playing USC, they are a traditional powerhouse program and it is a great opportunity for us," said head coach Mat Iandolo.

The Utes earned a tough 4-3 victory against No. 39 Fresno State and the freshmen on the team stepped up to help the effort. Taylor Calton clinched the match for Utah in a three set match that went into a tie break in which she won 7-1.
