Kristiina Rove and
Ana Kobal have both earned postgraduate scholarships, Rove from the NCAA and Kobal from the Pac-12.
Rove, who graduated in 2016 with a degree in business administration, is a three-time All-American in the giant slalom (2013-15). The 2014 RMISA women's alpine MVP had two career victories for the Utes, in the slalom at the Colorado Invite and the RMISA Championship in 2014. She is a three-time All-RMISA skier, earning first-team honors in 2014. Rove had 12 career podium finishes during her career with 23 career top-5 finishes. She was selected as an Academic All-American as a senior.
The NCAA awards up to 174 postgraduate scholarships annually. Nominees must have a 3.20 grade point average and have completed their final year of athletics competition.
Kobal is a two-time All-American, earning both slalom and giant slalom honors in 2013, and is a three-time NCAA representative for the Utes (2013-15). She had eight career podium finishes, 11 career top-5 finishes and 22 career top-10 finishes. Kobal graduated in 2016 with a degree in exercise and sport science.
To earn a Pac-12 postgraduate scholarship, student-athletes must have maintained a 3.00 grade point average and have been accepted or enrolled in a graduate or professional program.
