SALT LAKE CITY – University of Utah women's tennis is on the road for a pair of Pac-12 Conference matches.The Utes face the No. 39 USC Trojans at 2:30 p.m. MT on Friday followed by the No. 20 UCLA Bruins at 2:30 p.m. MT on Saturday.
Utah Notes
Last time out, the Utes (7-6, 2-4 Pac-12) dropped two difficult Pac-12 matches at home. They fell to No. 8 Stanford on Mar. 31, 6-1, and came close in a matchup against No. 14 California, 4-3. Against Stanford,
Alexia Petrovic picked up the Utes' lone win on the day, defeating Caroline Doyle in the No. 1 spot in three sets, 3-6, 6-2, 10-8. Against California, Petrovic, along with

Whitney Turley each added wins in singles competition.
USC Notes
No. 39 USC (6-8, 1-4 Pac-12) has defeated Washington State, 4-1, but fell to No. 12 California, 3-4, No. 14 Stanford, 0-4, No. 35 Oregon, 3-4, and No. 35 Washington, 3-4 in Pac-12 action. The Trojans are 3-3 at home with wins over San Diego State, 7-0, Michigan, 5-2, and Loyola Marymount, 4-3. The Trojans host Utah on Friday at 2:30 p.m. MT followed by Colorado on Saturday at 1 p.m. MT.
UCLA Notes
No. 20 UCLA (10-5, 4-1 Pac-12) has defeated No. 12 California, 4-3, No. 35 Oregon, 4-1, No. 35 Washington, 4-1, and Washington State, 6-1 and suffered a close loss to No. 14 Stanford, 3-4 in Pac-12 action. The Bruins are 3-2 at home, with the two losses to Stanford and to No. 12 Pepperdine, 2-5. The Bruins host Colorado on Friday at 2:30 p.m. MT before hosting Utah on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. MT.
