junior earns honors for second-straight season

SALT LAKE CITY - Utah's Margo Pletcher earned honorable mention to the All Pac-12 Women's Tennis teams this afternoon.

For the second-straight season, Pletcher earned postseason accolades from the conferece. The junior played at the No. 1 singles position for the Utes, competing against some of the top players in the country.

She won eight singles matches in dual play this season, including a victory over Arizona's Lauren Marker, ranked No. 39 in the nation, during the Pac-12 Tournament. A Pac-12 All-Academic selection, Pletcher also defeated Martina Frantova of No. 30 North Carolina State and teamed with Brianna Turley to defeat Ksenia Laskutova and Martina Okalova of No. 40 Tulsa.
