Utes In The Pros: Week 11 Recap

SALT LAKE CITY – As the NFL season heads into week 12, fans are thinking of two things – food and football during the holiday season.Â
The Utes have 13 former players suiting up for the 12thweek of the season after another successful outing for week 11. Unfortunately, quarterback Alex Smith will not be suiting up for the Redskins after suffering an injury against Houston last week.Â
In one of the bigger games of the week, four former Utes faced off against each other when the L.A. Chargers took on Denver. Garrett Bolles, Devontae Booker and Tim Patrick, who all play for the Broncos, defeated the Chargers and former offensive lineman Sam Tevi, but that didn't stop them from reminiscing after the game.Â
On the defensive side of the ball, both Eric Weddle and Marcus Williams continue to be dominant at the free safety position with both former Utes starting at the position for the Ravens and the Saints, respectively.Â
