Utes, Aggies set for 1:30 p.m. MT kickoff on FOX
SALT LAKE CITY — The 17th-ranked Utah football team finishes a three-game homestand to start the season at Rice-Eccles Stadium on Saturday afternoon vs. Utah State. Kickoff between the Utes and Aggies is set for 1:30 p.m. MT on Sept. 19.

THE NUMBERS
• Utah's margin of victory was among the best in the FBS last season and that has continued in 2026. The Utes had six wins by 30+ points, tying for second-most in the country (Indiana led with eight wins by 30+ points). Utah has a +33 average margin of victory through two games so far this season, tied for 12th in the FBS.
• Utah's defense has been stout through the first two games of the season, allowing just 24 total points. The Utes' rank second in the conference and tied for fourth in the FBS with just one passing play of 20+ yards allowed and fourth in the Big 12 in rushing plays of 10+ yards given up, with only 3 against Idaho and Arkansas combined.
• The pass defense was active all over the field against Arkansas last week, breaking up a team total of 13 passes, the second-highest single game total in program history and most since 1998. Elijah Reed and James Chenault were both credited with multiple PBUs.
UTAH FOOTBALL: NEED TO KNOWS
• Quarterback Devon Dampier has picked up right where he left off in the Las Vegas Bowl, throwing for five scores on just 42 combined attempts in the first two games of the season. He leads the Big 12 in passing efficiency (195.7) and ranks in the top half of the conference in passing touchdowns (5, 4th) and passing yards (437, 7th).
• Running back Wayshawn Parker has been an end zone magnet to begin the season, tying for the FBS lead with six total touchdowns through two games. Of his six total scores, Parker has punched it in three times on the ground and three times through the air after catching a pass.
• After scoring 66 and 43 points in the first two games of the season, Utah has now scored 30 or more points in eight straight games dating back to the 2025 season, the longest active streak in the FBS of games scoring 30-plus points.
• Utah is looking to sweep its nonconference slate for the fourth straight season on Saturday. The last regular season nonconference loss was Sept. 3 2022 at Florida (29-26).
