Utes and the WNIT: Utah is 12-12 all-time in the WNIT and 3-2 under the direction of head coach Lynne Roberts after Utah's 78-68 win over UNLV on Thursday. This is the second time since Roberts took over that the Utes have advanced to the second round, making it to the third in 2016.
About the Wildcats: The Kansas State Wildcats are 17-15 overall this season and finished 7-11 in Big 12 play (7th). The Wildcats are only averaging 67.8 points per game this season, but have been a force on the defensive side of the ball, ranking fourth in the Big 12 in blocks (4.7 pg) and second in steals (8.7 pg). They have three players scoring in double-digits, led by Kayla Goth who is puttinig up 17.0 points per game.
Next Up: With a win over Kansas State, the Utes would play the winner of the game between Wyoming and UC Davis and would advance to the third round that would be held March 21-23.

Last time Out: Utah came out firing in the first half against the UNLV Lady Rebels on Thursday night and despite a sluggish second half, came away with a 78-68 victory. The Utes were led in scoring by redshirt junior Megan Huff, who knocked in 17 points and nine rebounds. Tori Williams added 15 points and a career-high five assists with Tilar Clark chipping in 13 points, eight rebounds, an assist and a block. Emily Potter rounded out Utah's double-digit scorers with 10 points.
15-or-More: Megan Huff finished the game against UNLV (3/15) with 17 points, the 16th time this season she has scored 15-or-more points. She is leading the team with 14.4 points per game this season.
Williams For Three: Tori Williams has hit at least two three-pointers in 20 games this season, including her four against UNLV (3/15). All four of her made field goals against the Lady Rebels were from the arc. Her 62 made three-pointers this season ranks first among all Pac-12 freshmen.
Late Season Surge: Through 31 games this season, Tilar Clark is averaging 7.3 points per game, but in the last five, Clark has been able to pour in 10.2 per game. She has also started the last five games and went from averaging 23 minutes per game to 35.
Bean's Assists: Erika Bean racked up six assists in Utah's win over UNLV (3/15), the 18th game this season she has had five-or-more assists and the 41st time in her career.
Good Percentage: Utah had 19 assists against UNLV (3/15), the eighth time that the Utes have had over 18 in a game. Utah's also had 25 made field goals against the Lady Rebels with 76-percent of them coming at the hands of a dish.
Clark on the Boards: Tilar Clark has secured four-or-more rebounds in five straight games. Prior to the last five games, Clark was averaging 3.1 rebounds per game, but in the last five, she is averaging 6.4, tying her career-best of eight twice in the last four games.
