SALT LAKE CITY – Utah's
Ally Dickman will receive the Occie Evans Award as the University of Utah's top senior female student-athlete in a team sport for the 2018-19 academic year.
Dickman garnered all-conference honors for the first time after a senior year where she led Utah with eight home runs and a .625 slugging percentage. She also finished second on the squad with 30 runs scored, a .368 batting average and 29 RBI
She was the toughest at-bat in the Pac-12, averaging just one strikeout every 19.6 at-bats. Dickman also earned All-Freshmen Team honors during her time with the Utes and was the President of the Crimson Council, Utah's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.
Dickman graduated with a 3.85 grade point average in English and communications. A three-time Pac-12 All-Academic selection and NFCA Scholar Athlete, she also earned CoSIDA Google Cloud Academic All-District honors
All Utah senior student-athletes on women's basketball, soccer, softball and volleyball teams are eligible for the award. Dickman joins her sister Kate, current head coach

Hannah Flippen, National Fastpitch Coaches Association Hall of Famer Jo Evans and Utah Athletics Hall of Famers Melonie Kent and Ali Andrus-Sagas as winners of this award
Dickman will be honored during the home football game vs. Cal on October 26.
