LEXINGTON, Ky. – The University of Utah women's tennis team has wrapped up the final day of competition at the Kentucky Invite. Utah took on Miami University (Ohio) in doubles play on Sunday, while matching up against opponents from DePaul, West Virginia, and Kentucky in singles at the Top Seed Tennis Club.
The Utes concluded the Kentucky Invite by taking two-of-three doubles matches on the day, along with tabbing three singles wins.
"These matches were great experience for us," Ute head coach

Beginning Sunday's final day of competition with doubles, the duo of
Anya Lamoreaux and
Lindsay Hung picked up the first win of the day for the Utes, as they took on Miami's Laura Rico and Lena Babunski, coming out on top 8-1.
Madeline Lamoreaux and
Emily Dush then followed with a win of their own. Lamoreaux and Dush faced off against Milana Lysova and Makenzie Myers, beating out the duo 8-5 to finish out doubles play for the weekend.
Madison McKay and
Jasmine Rich were also paired together in doubles and fell short against Miami's Brindtha Ramasam and Priyana Kalita with a score of 1-8.
Later in the day with singles, Hung then kept things rolling with a win against DePaul's Lenka Antonijevic in a close and competitive match, escaping 7-6 (1), 7-6 (4) to record the straight-set victory.
Madeline Lamoreaux then played against Diana Tkachenko from Kentucky, as she was able to roll to a 6-3, 6-2 victory.
The final victory of the day for the Utes came from freshman
