Women's Basketball To Take On Nevada Saturday At Home

THE GAME
The University of Utah women's basketball program is set to host the Nevada Wolf Pack on Saturday, Dec. 14. The game is set to tip at 11:30 a.m. MT in the Jon M. Huntsman Center and fans that wear and Ugly Sweater will get free admission. Â
HOLIDAY SPIRIT!
Join the Utes for its annual Holiday Spirit game with anyone wearing an Ugly Sweater getting into the game FREE! Beginning at 10:30 a.m., Utah Athletics will be hosting a Holiday Party in Legacy Hall (Jon M. and Karen Huntsman Basketball Facility) that will feature Utah stockings and cookies to the first 100 fans, a Mr. and Mrs. Clause photo station, ornament decorating, face painting and balloon artists, and carolers welcoming fans to the event.

Utah will have a quick turnaround as they host Providence on Monday, Dec. 16 at 7 p.m. MT. It will be Utah's second to last non-conference game of the season, wrapping up non-conference play against Weber State at home on Dec. 20.

•   Head coach Lynne Roberts currently holds a career record of 298-232 in her 18 years as a head coach (77-57 at Utah), two wins shy of reaching the 300-career wins milestone. Â
•   Utah has knocked down 73 three-pointers through eight games, averaging 9.1 per game which ranks 15th in Division I women's basketball and third in the Pac-12.
•   Utah has scored 70+ points in five of its eight games, averaging 75.0 points per game which ranks fifth in the Pac-12.

Utah's game against Nevada will be live streamed on UtahUtes.com with fans also able to follow live stats with a link on Utah's schedule page at UtahUtes.com. Fans can also tune in on ESPN 700 and listen to play-by-play announcer Tyson Ewing and analyst Amanda Smith call the shots.

Season and single-game tickets for Utah Women's basketball can be purchased by calling 801-581-UTIX or visit www.UtahTickets.com. Women's basketball currently has two ticket deals going. For $10 fans can buy the Utah Basketball Holiday Package which will include a GA ticket to Utah's remaining games in December (Dec. 14 vs. Nevada, Dec. 16 vs. Providence, Dec. 20 vs. Weber State, Pac-12 opener on Dec. 29 vs. Colorado) and a Utah stocking. Also, any fans that buy a ticket to the men's basketball game vs. Weber State will receive a free women's basketball vs. Nevada ticket.
