Kramer Goes 1-4 with an RBI
LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Utah baseball struck first against No. 1 UCLA Bruins, but the top ranked Bruins came back to secure the 6-1 victory at Jackie Robinson Stadium on Saturday, April 27.
Four Utes had hits and Shea Kramer had Utah's RBI.
Utah had a good start in the top of the first as Erick Migueles singled with two outs. Shea Kramer came up next and hit a double to right center to get the Utes on the board.
The Bruins came right back to score two in the bottom of the first to take the lead back.
UCLA struck again with two runs in the third and runs in the fifth and the eighth to seal the victory.
Joshua Tedeschi got the start and went 7.2 innings and struck out eight batters. The 7.2 innings pitched and the eight strikeouts are both season highs for Tedeschi. The Bruins scored six runs on eight hits.
Along with Kramer and Migueles, Oliver Dunn and Dominic Foscalina each had hits as well.
Utah and UCLA will finish the series on Sunday, April 27 at 2 p.m. MST at Jackie Robinson Stadium.
