Utah takes a break from Pac-12 action to host BYU at Smith's Ballpark in the First Deseret Duel.
First pitch is at 6 p.m. and will be broadcasted on Pac-12 Network.
Earlier in the season, Utah defeated BYU 8-6 at home. It was a thrilling game that saw several lead changes, but the Utes took the lead for good in the bottom of the eighth.
They were supposed to play again a week later down in Provo, but the game got canceled due to rain.
SERIES
Utah has played BYU 363 times in their history and the Utes are 117-244-2.
Utah has won or split the series the last two seasons and has insured that trend will continue for a third season with the win earlier in the season.
SEASON TICKET HAT PRICE DISCOUNTED
With seven home games remaining, Utah baseball has reduced its season ticket hat from $25 down to $15. The hat gets your access into the stadium along with six other friends.
DUNN ALWAYS ON BASE
Second baseman Oliver Dunn leads the team hitting .360.
Dunn had a career high six RBI in the opening game of Pac-12 play against Arizona, going 3-6 at the plate with two doubles.
He leads the team scoring 41 runs and has touched 97 total bases.
Dunn had an 18-game hitting streak, but it was snapped in the first game against USC. He still has at least one hit in 38 of the 43 games played this season.
Against Washington, Dunn had three multi-hit games going 7-15 overall.
He has also been a warrior on the field through his career, starting in 146 of the 148 games he's seen action in. He has started in 111 straight games at second base going back to 2017.
KRAMER GETS THE BAT GOING
Shea Kramer is hitting .342 in Pac-12 play. He's started in 21 of those game and played in 24 overall.
He's got 12 RBI and has scored eight runs in the 24 games as well.
In the second game against Cal, he set a career high going 4-5 at the plate. In all, he finished 5-11 in the series.
Against USC, he continued to come up with clutch hits and had one RBI in the final two games.

Utah has one more Pac-12 series this weekend against Washington State beginning on Thursday, May 16. First pitch for all three games are at 11:30 a.m. at Smith's Ballpark.
