TEMPE, Ariz. - The Intercollegiate Tennis Association announced its 2019 Division 1 Mountain Regional winners this morning with Utah earning a pair of awards.
Madison Tattini was named the ITA Rookie of the Year and the Utes also earned the ITA Community Service Award.

Tattani was named the ITA Rookie of the Year after a dominant first year on the No. 2 court in singles. She won her first six matches in the fall and finished with 20 victories, three in conference play and one in the Pac-12 Tournament. She also teamed with
Brianna Chisholm for doubles play and rose in the rankings throughout the season, sitting at No. 49 in the latest polls. The duo put together some top-notch victories this year, including wins over the No. 71 team out of Washington State, the No. 43 team out of Washington and the No. 65 team from Loyola Marymount.

The Utes also won the ITA Community Service Award for a second year in a row. In the last few seasons, Utah has been involved with Team IMPACT and the Tommy Tough Foundation, held bowling nights with community members who have special needs, volunteered at the Ronald McDonald house where they read and interacted with the children and helped host "Trunk or Treat" during Halloween for children in the community
