SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Utah baseball team won 8-0 on senior night over the UC Davis Aggies at Smith's Ballpark on Friday, May 24.

After the first game of the series was canceled, Utah came out ready to play scoring three runs through the first two innings. The seniors had a big part of the win as every senior that played had either an RBI or scored a run.

Erick Migueles got the night going with a single in the first. After getting moved over to second,
Shea Kramer got him home with a single. The Utes tacked on two more runs in the second on three hits as
Matt Richardson and
Oliver Dunn each picked up an RBI.

Utah continued to score runs adding three more in the fifth with a Migueles two-run homer being the key and then scored runs in the seventh and eighth innings.

Freshman
David Watson got the start and had a career outing pitching 8.0 innings and only giving up five hits to move his record to 2-0 on the season.
Zac McCleve came in and got three straight outs in the ninth to seal the victory and the second shutout of the season for the Utes.

Dunn went 3-4 on the night and had two RBI and scored two runs as well. Migueles went 2-4 while clubbing his eighth homer of the season. Richardson also had three runs as well as one RBI and scored two runs.

Utah and UC Davis will be back on the diamond tomorrow for the final game of the season at Smith's Ballpark starting at 11:30 a.m.
