TEMPE, Ariz. – The University of Utah women's tennis team was honored today by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association after landing a program record five student-athletes on the ITA Scholar-Athlete list. The Utes have had at least three student-athletes earn scholar-athlete four years in a row.
The Utes were also recognized as a team by earning the ITA All-Academic Team award for having a team GPA of 3.49. To be eligible for the team award, all varsity letter winners are factored into the team GPA and the team must have a minimum 3.20 or above. Â

Lindsay Hung and
Madison Tattini all earned scholar-athlete recognition after a successful 2018-19 season. Student-athletes on the ITA Scholar-Athlete list are required to be a varsity letter winner and have a GPA of 3.50.
This is Chisholm's fourth straight year to earn scholar-athlete honors, coming on the heels of a strong season on and off the court. Chisholm earned Pac-12 All-Conference honorable mention while also becoming the first Pac-12 Women's Tennis Scholar-Athlete of the Year in program history.
Hekking joins her sister as a repeat selection to the scholar-athlete team after earning the distinction three years in a row. Hekking also received a Pac-12 All-Academic second-team selection for the second straight year at the end of her junior campaign.
Dush, Hung and Tattini all shined for the Utes on the court in their first season in the red and white with Tattini being named the ITA Mountain Region Rookie of the Year. They combined for over 30 singles wins with Tattini at the No. 2 position, Dush dominating at the No. 3 spot and Hung controlling the No. 4 singles court.
