• Utah shut out Idaho State, 31-0. The last time Utah shut a team out was against Southern Utah in 2016 (24-0).Â

• Utah held its opponent under 100-yards rushing for the third-straight week (BYU 92, NIU 67, ISU 67).

• The Utes were efficient in the first half in building a 24-0 lead by the 12:53 mark of the second quarter, scoring on each of their first four possessions (FG, TD, TD, TD).

• Through three games Utah has not allowed a sack and has committed just one turnover.

• JaTravis Broughton's fourth-quarter interception marked the third game this year that Utah has created a turnover. Dating back to last season, the Utes have created a turnover in 11-straight games.

• Zack Moss ran for 106 yards (10 carries), his 13th career 100-yard game and moving him into sole possession of third place on the all-time list at Utah. The school record is 14, done by John White (2011-12) and DeVontae Booker
               • Moss moved into second all-time at Utah in career rushing yards, passing Tony Lindsay (2,995, 1977-80).
                • Moss (3,024 rush. yds.) needs 196 rushing yards to break the all-time school record 3,219 by Eddie Johnson (1984-88).
                • Moss' one-yard touchdown in the first quarter gives him 27 rushing TDs for his career and moves him into sole position of second                  all-time in the Utah record book. The school record is 31, done by Del Rodgers (1978-81).
                • Moss is tied for fifth all-time at Utah in career carries with John White (2011-12) with 534 carries.

• Tyler Huntley threw a career-long 82-yard touchdown pass to Bryan Thompson in the first quarter. It was the 10th-longest pass in school history and the longest Utah pass since 2009. Utah's last pass of at least 80 yards was in 2013.
• Huntley moved into eighth all-time at Utah in career passing yards (4,861), passing both Jordan Wynn (9th, 4,637; 2009-12) and Frank Dolce (8th, 4,813; 1991-92).
               • Huntley moved into sixth all-time at Utah in career completions with 396, passing Alex Smith (389, 2002-04).
               • Huntley has 31 career touchdown passes, which is tied for 10th all-time at Utah with Brett Ratliff (2005-06).
               • Huntley (15-of-19, 282 yards, 3 TD, 0 INT) has 13 career 200-yard passing games.

• Bryan Thompson had a career-high receiving yards for the second-straight week, leading Utah with 105 yards on two receptions. Both receptions went for scores, his first career multi-touchdown game. He has 10 career touchdowns.

• Brant Kuithe had a career-long 60-yard touchdown reception in the second quarter, doubling his previous long reception (30 yards). It is Utah's longest completion to a tight end since a 79-yard completion by Alex Smith to Ben Moa against UNLV on Oct. 25, 2003.

• Jadon Redding made his first career field goal for 35 yards in the first quarter.

• Devin Lloyd led Utah with nine tackles and had a career-high 3.5 tackles for loss (1.0 sack).Â

• R.J. Hubert made his first career start at safety.

• Attendance was 45,989 the 59th-straight sellout at Rice-Eccles Stadium since the 2010 season opener. It is the 55th standing-room only crowd in that streak.Â
