SALT LAKE CITY – Utah Swim and Dive will host its annual Alumni Meet on Saturday at the Ute Natatorium. Several of Utah's top swimmers and divers from the past will be in attendance or competing at 11 a.m. and admission is free to the public.
Utah will separate into two squads, red and white, to compete in standard competition events. This format is unlike last week when Utah and BYU met for a relay meet. It is the second unofficial "tune up" for Utah before the season begins at home against Arizona on October 4.
Former All-American Nick Soedel will compete for the men. In 2013 and 2015, he earned national honors in both the 50 and 100 free. Joining him will be
Jack Burton, who joined
Ben Scott,
Rodolfo Moreira, and
Paul Ungur in 2018 on the record-setting 400-medley relay. He is also the Utah record holder in the 200 breast.
