Beach Volleyball Heads to California for Weekend of Tri Meets

The Utah beach volleyball team will be taking on impressive competition with two tri meets this weekend in California

SALT LAKE CITY- The Utah beach volleyball team will be taking on impressive competition with two tri meets this weekend in California.

After a week break from the close losses to Colorado Mesa, Utah will take on Boise State and California Long Beach State in Long Beach on Friday. Utah lost the last matchup with Boise State 1-4 in the 2019 season and did not compete last year with the 2020 matchup being canceled due to Covid-19 precautions. Utah also fell to Long Beach last year, finishing 0-5.

On Saturday the Utes will take on The Master's University and Loyola Marymount at Master's University in Santa Clarita. This will be the first time Utah faces The Master's University. Utah last faced LMU in the 2018 season with two close losses.
