LAX Closes Out Road Schedule at Cleveland State

The Utah lacrosse team wraps up its arduous road schedule this spring with a 10am (MT) meeting against Cleveland State.
SALT LAKE CITY – The Utah lacrosse team will conclude its road dominant schedule this season on Saturday, April 24, when it battles future ASUN opponent Cleveland State at 10 a.m. (MT) on Krenzler Field.

LOOKING INTO THE FUTURE
Utah's match-up against Cleveland State this Saturday and Robert Morris will give the program a good look into the future as it battles the Vikings and Colonials – whom it will play on a regular-basis starting next year in the ASUN Conference. So far, the Utes have gone 1-1 against future ASUN opponents this season. Utah first defeated Bellarmine on the road 12-7 on the road before falling to Air Force in overtime 10-9.
LAST TIME OUT
The Utes came into Klöckner Stadium last Saturday guns blazing and gave then-No. 4 Virginia its best before the Cavaliers answered back to take the 18-11 victory. However, Utah had UVA on its heels in the first half and took the lead on two occasions before the Cavaliers reeled off eight-consecutive goals and ultimately put the game out of reach.
Carson Moyer had a career-high four goals while MJ McMahon and Jordan Hyde each had two goals apiece. Of the highlights on both ends of the field for Utah, none was more electric than Zion Dechesere going almost the full length of the field with his bullseye to Jordan Hyde for the goal in the second.

After 20,000 plus miles, the #RoadWarriors return home for the final game of the season on Saturday, May 1, for an 11 a.m. match against Robert Morris at Crimson Field. The Utah lacrosse program will also be honoring Steele Headden, Harrison Nye, Jonathan Rose and Dan Tracy an integral part in building the foundation and will leave a lasting legacy at Utah as well.
