SALT LAKE CITY – Utah Volleyball strengthens its program once again on National Signing Day with the additions of Polish National Team member Olga Musial and AVCA Honorable Mention All-American Kamryn Gibadlo. Olga Musial • OH/OPP • Boguchwala, Poland (Szkoly Mistrzostwa Sportowego Mielec)
Â
"Olga comes to Utah with a wealth of high level experience," said head coach
Beth Launiere on the addition. "Her time with the Polish National Team, as well as playing for the top club teams in Poland, has prepared her well for NCAA volleyball. She is a lefty that plays six rotations, and can pass and attack out of the back row. She is a tremendous athlete with great skill. We are excited to have a player of her caliber joining the Utah Volleyball program and look forward to having another left hander on our team."
Musial signs with Utah as a 6'2" left-handed pin hitter on the Polish National Team. She earned the bronze medal with Team Poland at the 2022 European Youth Olympics Festival, as well as the U19 European Championships. During the bronze medal match at the European Championships, Musial led the national team with 18 kills, three blocks and an ace.
Â
Outside of her time with Team Poland, Musial played for SMS PZPS Szczyrk and currently plays club with ITA TOOLS Stal Mielec. Last season with SMS PZPS Szczyrk, Musial posted three matches of double-digit kills on the right side. She also posted a season-high five blocks against KS BAS Kombinat Budowlany Bialystok (A). Musial ended the 2021-22 season with 105 kills and 29 blocks.
Â
She is the second international signee for the Utes in the last two signing classes, joining Canadian National Team member
Viktoria Wahlgren on the current Utah Volleyball roster. Musial is the first Ute to sign out of high school from overseas since Lea Adolph (Germany, 2011-14). She is the daughter of Tomasz and Karolina Musial, and has a brother Oskar.

Â
Kamryn Gibadlo • OH • Cave Creek, Ariz. (Cactus Shadows HS)
Â
"Kamryn is a tremendous athlete with a huge upside," said Launiere. "She is a high flyer with a great arm, and comes to us as one of the top players in the state of Arizona. Kamryn has worked hard at developing her all-around game as a six-rotation hitter that can play on either pin. Her rate of improvement over the last year shows she is a great student of the game and driven athlete with tremendous potential."
Gibadlo heads to Salt Lake City as a four-time All-Region selection during her career at Cactus Shadows High School after recently earning first team honors in Region 9 for the 2022 season. Gibadlo was named a 2022 Honorable Mention All-American, and earned the AVCA Best and Brightest award. The four-year letterwinner has been a Max Preps AZ Player of the Week this season as a senior, and is averaging 4.10 kills per set on .367 hitting. Gibadlo has hit above .339 every season of high school volleyball.
Â
Last year during her junior campaign, Gibadlo was a first team All-Region selection, while she earned second team honors her freshman and sophomore seasons. She was a member of the state runner-up team as a sophomore in 2020 and was named the team's offensive player of the year. Gibadlo also earned a spot on the 2020 AZ Republic All-AZ Volleyball Team.
Â
The daughter of Susie and Ken Gibadlo plays club volleyball for AZ Storm Elite where she was named an Under Armour All-American and was the team captain of her U-17 squad. She holds the AZ Storm record for highest approach jump (10'3"). Her father Ken played football at Air Force Academy, while her older sister Kalleigh played soccer at Ottawa University. She also has an older sister, Kendall.
