SALT LAKE CITY – The #RV/-- Utah men's basketball team plays host to UTSA on Tuesday, Dec. 13, for its final game inside the Jon M. Huntsman Center for the 2022 calendar year at 7 p.m. (MT).

Krista Blunk will have the call in the second meeting ever between the Runnin' Utes and Roadrunners on the Pac-12 Mountain broadcast while former Duke point guard and Marquette head coach Steve Wojciechowski serves as the analyst.

In its game against Jacksonville State at home, Utah drained 16 triples from all over the court – which was tied for fifth-most in program history. Sophomore guard Lazar Stefanovic accounted for six of them himself while Gabe Madsen and Branden Carlson knocked down four and three treys, respectively. The Utes hit 16 in a game three other times – twice of which occurred in 2018-19 season.

Utah had its away against Jacksonville State last Thursday, outscoring the Gamecocks 99-58 behind four players in double-figures – including a career-high 20 points from Lazar Stefanovic. The Utes had different players get hot from 3-point range in each half before finishing with 16 triples as a team – tied for the fifth most in program history. Meanwhile, the offense was also unselfish all night and dished out 25 total assists against Jacksonville State – the second time this season.

The 263rd edition of the in-state rival between Utah and BYU is set to take place this Saturday, Dec. 17, at 4 p.m. (MT) inside the Marriott Center. Rich Waltz will have the call in the rivalry game while former Utah graduate assistant coach Bob Wenzel serves as the analyst on the CBS Sports Network broadcast as the two storied programs duke it out for the 123rd time in Provo.
 LOOKING AHEAD
Utah closes out the non-conference slate next Wednesday, Dec. 21, when the Runnin' Utes welcome in #21/22 TCU to Vivint Arena to close out the "home and home" series with the Horned Frogs. TCU took the last meeting 76-62 down in Ft. Worth, Texas, at Dickies Arena. Todd Harris will have the call alongside former Cal head coach Ben Braun, who will serve as the analyst in the Pac-12 Mountain telecast. Â
