Utes in the Pros: 2022 NFL Week 16; Week 15 Recap

SALT LAKE CITY – Three weeks remain in the NFL regular season, and it's a similar theme to the last several weeks: divisional and playoff races are heating up and there's plenty of former Utah Utes in action over the coming holiday weekend.
All told, 14 former Utes will suit up for their respective clubs with 23 total players on rosters.
Heading into Week 16, both the Eagles (with Britain Covey) and 49ers (with Mitch Wishnowsky) have clinched NFC playoff berths, with a full overview of the playoff picture provided by the NFL here.
Devin Lloyd and the Jacksonville Jaguars kick off this week's action with a Thursday night visit to MetLife Stadium taking on the Jets, then Saturday's lineup features seven games with at least one former Ute. All three matchups on Christmas Day include a Utah tie, as does Monday Night Football, which sees the Colts host the LA Chargers this week.
Movement around the league this last week saw linebacker Chase Hansen elevated to the New Orleans Saints' active roster off of injured reserve, while linebacker Nephi Sewell was re-signed to the club's practice squad. Pittsburgh also announced on Wednesday that the Steelers had signed former Utah defensive end Mika Tafua to its practice squad.
How to watch the Utes in Week 16
Week 16 (players on active rosters)
Seven Utah alumni were starters for their respective clubs in Week 15—a group comprised of Cody Barton (Seattle), Julian Blackmon (Indianapolis), Leki Fotu (Arizona), Tyler Huntley (Baltimore), Jaylon Johnson (Chicago), Devin Lloyd (Jacksonville) and Marcus Williams (Baltimore).
Lloyd was part of an incredible comeback win for the Jacksonville Jaguars, putting together nine tackles in an overtime triumph vs. Dallas.
While the final result wasn't what Colts fans hoped for, Indianapolis safety Julian Blackmon did come up with a pick-six at Minnesota, going on the books at Blackmon's third career interception and first score.
In coming off of IR, Chase Hansen saw game action for the first time since Week 8 and contributed a tackle while playing on special teams.
