Miles Battle | CB | Sr. On bowl prep the last few weeks…
"We are getting back into the swing of things. We did a lot of conditioning to make sure our bodies are still game-ready. (Early on), the practices were about getting back to the fundamentals. As we've gone through the weeks, we've gotten more into Northwestern and what they do offensively, bringing it all together."
On things he's seen on tape from Northwestern…
"They've got some good guys on the outside, and in the slot. Some decent running backs too. We know their quarterback is a good passer and good decision-maker. Just being able to see everything they do and play well."
On settling into Utah after his process in the transfer portal last year…
"It's funny, I think around this time last year was when I came on my visit. It was a lot more snowy then. But seeing what the program offered, what they stood for, everything they do as a team and how it translates to the next level…that was really what stood out to me and what was really the driving force for me to pick Utah."
Nate Ritchie | S | Fr. On getting ready for Northwestern…
"We've been studying them for a little while now, trying to pick out their tendencies and get out game plan solidified. It's been good so far."
On his first season back from his church mission…
"I'd say that I'm feeling pretty dang good right now. I'm feeling just like I was before my mission. That's a good sign. I'm feeling like I've got my legs under me and I'm feeling confident in my play."
