Eagles, Kansas City battle for Vince Lombardi Trophy on Sunday at State Farm Stadium
SALT LAKE CITY – For the seventh straight Super Bowl, there are connections to the Utah Football program, with the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs squaring off in this year's battle for the Vince Lombardi Trophy. With Utah ties to both the Chiefs and Eagles, there's guaranteed to be a former Ute being crowned a champion on Sunday evening.

FOX will have television coverage of the game in the United States, with kickoff set for 4:30 p.m. MT inside State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. The Super Bowl LVII Pregame Show begins at 11 a.m. MT.

Philadelphia rookie and former Utah wide receiver/return specialist Britain Covey is looking to secure his first Super Bowl title. Covey has returned 33 punts for 308 yards during his first pro season, plus 10 kickoff returns for 206 yards. The five-time All-American holds the Utah record for career punt return yards (1,092) and ranks in the top-six in career punt returns (2nd), receptions (2nd), all-purpose yards (3rd) and receiving yards (6th).
Also looking for his first championship is second-year Eagles quarterbacks coach Brian Johnson—who remains the winningest QB in Utah history after earning 26 triumphs on the hill from 2004-08. Johnson went on to also serve as Kyle Whittingham's quarterbacks coach from 2010-13, adding the responsibilities of offensive coordinator his last two seasons.
On the opposite sideline—but also donning the headset—is Kansas City defensive quality control coach Alex Whittingham, the former Utah walk-on linebacker who appeared in 45 games with the Utes from 2014-17. Whittingham is in his fifth season on the Chiefs' staff, and was part of the organization when Kansas City won Super Bowl LIV over the San Francisco 49ers.

Huntley Shines in Pro Bowl Games
Although a late addition to the AFC roster for last week's Pro Bowl Games, former Utah quarterback and current Baltimore Ravens QB Tyler Huntley nevertheless put on a performance that impressed the likes of Peyton Manning (serving as AFC head coach).

In the newly-reformatted Pro Bowl Games, Huntley racked up four touchdown passes—two to Ravens teammate Mark Andrews—on the way to 192 passing yards.

"Tyler was great. It was a lot of fun to be with him. He's got a great attitude," Manning said. "He threw great in the skills competition, played great in the game he played in flag. … Really enjoyed getting to know Tyler and I think great things are ahead of him."

"It's just something you dream of as a kid," Huntley told BaltimoreRavens.com. "It's just an amazing blessing to say that I did it."
