THE GAME
The University of Utah Lacrosse team is set to host Cleveland State on Saturday, April 22 for its final regular season home game. The game, which will be Utah's Senior Night, will start at 7 p.m.
JOIN US AT UTE FIELD
Fans heading to the University of Utah campus on Saturday evening can enjoy several pregame and in-game activities at Ute Field.
• Parking on campus is free with parking lots available across the street from Ute Field located near the Eccles Broadcast center.
• The Utes will host a pregame tailgate starting at 5 p.m., located in the lot directly above Ute Field.
• The tailgate will feature DJ Fresh with free stickers, posters, trading cards and thunder sticks available.
• Utah's Senior Night ceremony will begin at 6:50 p.m., so arrive early to celebrate Cole Brams, Samuel Cambere, Zach Chandler, Zack Johns, Dominic Mata, Ryan Rogers, Ruben Santana and Branden Wilson.

THREE THINGS TO KNOW
• After being picked to win the ASUN in the preseason poll, the Utes have clinched their spot in the ASUN Championship for the second year in a row.
• Utah leads the ASUN in assists (9.08), ground balls (37.67), points (25.92) and turnovers per game (14.33), also leading the league in scoring offense (16.83).
• The Utes are the only team in the country that have score 20+ goals in four games this season.

LAST TIME OUT
It was another record-breaking performance by the Utes, scoring their fourth 20-goal performance with a 22-12 victory over Mercer on Saturday, April 15.
• With Utah's 22 goals and 34 ground balls against the Bears, the Utes set school records in single-season goals (202) and ground balls (451).
• Utah's 14 assists in the game also tied for a single-game team record while the 13 caused turnovers ranks second all-time.

Jordan Hyde set the school record for single-game goals with his eight while his nine points ranks second in school history.

Ryan Stines also put up a career-high eight points on four goals and a career-high four assists.

SCORING FRENZY
Through non-conference play, Utah was only averaging 11.4 goals and 18.8 points per game. In ASUN play, the Utes have been averaging 20.7 goals and 30.2 points – leading the conference in both.
• The Utes rank second nationally in points per game (25.92), also ranking second in the country in scoring offense (16.83).
• Utah's +4.08 scoring margin sits at No. 9 in the nation and No. 2 in the ASUN.
• Utah has reached the 20-goal mark four times in the last six games, including in three straight, averaging 21.7 goals per game in that span.
• Utah is the only team in the country to have scored over 200 goals this season.
• The Utes are the only team in the ASUN with four players that have score 20-or-more goals this season (

Utah's offense and defense has propelled the program to high ranks this season across multiple statistical categories, sitting in the top-three in the ASUN in 11, including leading the league in five.
• Utah leads the ASUN in assists (9.08), ground balls (37.67), points (25.92) and turnovers per game (14.33), also leading the league in scoring offense (16.83).
• Utah also ranks second in the ASUN in clearing percentage (.904), scoring margin (+4.08) and saves per game (13.17) and is third in caused turnovers per game (7.83), face-off win percentage (.519) and winning percentage (.667).
• Utah's 26 goals against Robert Morris is the most goals in a game by an ASUN team this season, also ranking second nationally.
• The Utes' 54 ground balls at Detroit Mercy is also the most in a game by an ASUN team in 2023.

GROUND BALL SUCCESS
Utah is averaging 37.67 ground balls per game this season, including averaging 43.6 during ASUN play.
• Utah is 8-1 this season when they record 30+ ground balls in a game and 14-2 in the
Andrew McMinn era.
• Utah has had 40+ ground balls in five of the last eight games and nine times in the program's history.
• The Utes have had 30-or-more ground balls in eight straight games, the longest streak in school history.
• Utah's 54 ground balls against Detroit Mercy (3/25) was a season-high, ranking second all-time at Utah, and is first in the ASUN this season.
• Utah is the only team in the ASUN and is one of just three teams to have 50+ ground balls in two games this season.
RECORD BREAKERS
After breaking 42 school records in 2022, the Utes have continued the streak in 2023, breaking 24 so far this season (9 team single-game, 4 individual single-game, 4 team single-season, 2 individual single-season, 1 career, 4 miscellaneous).
• Utah has broken the school record for single-game points and goals twice this season, first against Detroit Mercy (36 points, 24 goals) and then again at Robert Morris (38 points, 26 goals).
• The Utes also set new records in faceoffs won against Detroit Mercy (27) and then again at Robert Morris (31), and broke the record for faceoffs attempted against the Colonials (44).
• On the individual side, freshman goalkeeper
Colin Lenskold broke the record for single-game saves (20) vs. Vermont with
Cole Brams breaking his own records in faceoff wins twice (27 at Robert Morris, 26 at Detroit Mercy).

Jordan Hyde also set a new single-game record with his eight goals against Mercer.
• Utah has also broken records for fastest goal to start a game (:14 vs. Marquette,

WHEN HYDE SHOOTS, HE SCORES
Junior attackman
Jordan Hyde has been tough to keep out of the back of the net this season, leading the Utes in goals (43) and points (47) while breaking the single-game, single-season and career records for goals this year.
• His 103 career goals, 43 goals in 2023 and eight goals against Mercer this season all set new records at Utah.
• He ranks eighth nationally and first in the ASUN in goals per game (3.58), also ranking fifth in the country and first in the league in shot percentage (.506).
• His 43 goals is the third-most in the country and most in the ASUN.
• Hyde has scored 33 of his 43 goals in conference play, averaging 4.71 per game.
• He has scored five-or-more goals in five of the last six games, including the school record eight against Mercer.
• He has 26 career games with at least two goals.
• Hyde has scored in 18 straight games, dating back to Utah's game at Cleveland State on April 9, 2022.
• He is one of just three players in the ASUN with over 100 career goals.
BRADBURY BRINGS IT ALL
Junior attackman
Tyler Bradbury continues to prove to be one of the most versatile players in the ASUN and the country, leading the team with 20 assists while also putting up 22 goals for 42 points.
• Through 41 career games as a Ute, he sits a top the record book in single-season points (62, 2022) and assists (33, 2022), and career points (143) and assists (78).
• He has scored at least one point in 28 straight games, dating back to the 2021 season, and has scored a point in 35 of his 40 career games.
• Bradbury also ranks third all-time at Utah in career goals (65), needing 10 more to move into second behind
Jordan Hyde.
• He ranks fourth in the ASUN in assists per game (1.67) this season, also ranking sixth in points per game (3.50).
• He has 26 career games with multiple assists, including in seven this season with his season-high of four coming vs. Marquette.
• He has 21 career games with two-or-more goals, including in seven in 2023 with his season-high four coming at Detroit Mercy.
• Bradbury has scored 14 of his 22 goals in conference play, averaging 2.0 per game.
STICKY STICK
Senior faceoff specialist
Cole Brams is known for finding ways to get the ball, whether that is through ground balls or faceoff wins. This season, he leads the Utes in ground balls (91) and faceoff wins (187), recording a 56% win average on faceoffs.
• Through 43 games as a Ute, Brams holds the school record for career ground balls (309), faceoff wins (594), faceoff attempts (1099), faceoff win percentage (.540), and ranks in the top-10 in caused turnovers (11).
• He is one of just three active players in the ASUN that have 500+ faceoff wins, needing just six more to reach 600.
• His 309 career ground balls is the third-most by an active player in the ASUN and ranks 12th overall among active players in the country.
• Brams is 21 ground balls shy of setting a new single-season record.
• In single-game records, Brams holds every spot in the top-10 in both ground balls and faceoffs won.
• This season, Brams ranks 19th nationally and second in the ASUN in ground balls per game, averaging 7.58 per game.
• He also ranks 23rd nationally and second in the league in faceoff win percentage (.563). His 187 faceoff wins ranks second in the ASUN and fifth nationally as well.
• Brams' has broken his own school record for faceoff wins twice this season, recording 26 at Detroit Mercy and 27 at Robert Morris. His 27 faceoff wins against the Colonials is the most by a player in the country this season.
• His season-high 15 ground balls against Detroit Mercy (3/25) and Robert Morris (4/8) is the most by a player in the ASUN, also ranking fifth nationally and second all-time at Utah.
• He has averaged 10.2 ground balls per game during conference play, reaching double-digits three times in the last seven games.
CAMBERE CAUSES CHAOS
Senior defenseman
Samuel Cambere has been known to cause problems for opposing offenses, holding the school records for single-game (5 vs. Bellarmine, 5/5/22), single-season (28 in 2022) and career (89) caused turnovers, also ranking second in career ground balls (229).
• Cambere has recorded at least one ground ball in all 58 games he has appeared in as a Ute.
• He has 26 career games with two-or-more CTOs in a game, including tying his season-high with three in three games this year (vs. Marquette, at Robert Morris, vs. Mercer).
• He has recorded at least one CTO in 43 of his 58 games.
• He has also posted four-or-more ground balls in 30 career games.
STINES CLIMBS THE CHARTS
Redshirt freshman
Ryan Stines has scored 30 goals in 12 games this season, ranking second on the team, starting all 12 games as well.
• He set a new freshman record at Utah with his 30 goals, passing
Jordan Hyde's 20 goals in 2021.
• He has scored at least one goal in every game this season, including two-or-more in nine of the last 10.
• His 2.50 goals per game leads all freshmen in the ASUN (6th Overall) and fifth in the country among freshmen.
• He also ranks sixth in the country among freshmen and first in the ASUN (4th overall) in shot percentage (.411).
• Stines scored a career-high five goals in Utah's win over Jacksonville.
• He also scored a career-high eight points vs. Mercer on four goals and a career-best four assists with the eight points ranking third all-time at Utah.
MCMAKIN IT HAPPEN
Junior attackman
MJ McMahon has been a consistent threat on offense for the Utes since he stepped foot on campus in 2020, recording 71 points on 44 goals and 27 assists.
• Through 43 career games, McMahon ranks fourth all-time in career points (71), also ranking fourth in goals (44) and has moved into fourth in assists (27).
• This season, he has 22 points on eight goals and 14 assists.
• He has recorded six of his 14 assists in the last three games, including his career-high tying four against Lindenwood.
• He has scored two-or-more points in six of Utah's 12 games this season, including his season-high five points in Utah's win at Robert Morris (3 goals, 2 assists).
• Prior to Utah's season opener against Denver (2/4/23), he had scored at least a point in 19 straight games (at Mercer, 4/27/21 – vs. Robert Morris, 5/7/22).
• He has scored at least a point in 34 of the 43 games he has appeared in.
THE CAPTAINS
Prior to the 2023 season, Utah selected its three captains for the season in
Josh Rose,
Samuel Cambere and
Tyler Bradbury. Cambere and Bradbury were also captains in 2022 with Cambere also serving as a captain in 2021.
• Bradbury and Cambere earned 2022 ASUN Offensive and Defensive Player of the Year honors during Utah's first year in the league.
• The trio has combined for 133 career games and 78 starts.
YEAR 5
The Utes are in their fifth year as a Division I program after making the transition from a club team in 2019. Utah is 30-28 all-time as a Division I team with 10 of those wins coming last season under the direction of head coach
Andrew McMinn.
• Utah won the ASUN regular season title in 2022 after its first year in the league.
• McMinn has a career record of 94-73 and a record of 18-8 at Utah. His 18 wins is the most by a head coach for Utah Lacrosse.
• McMinn led the Utes in 2022 to 42 school records while finishing the season ranked first in the ASUN in six different categories.
PRESEASON PRAISE
For the second straight year in the ASUN Conference, the coaches have voted for the Utes to win. the league. Utah tied with Air Force for the top spot in last season's preseason poll, earning the spot outright in 2022. Utah is coming off an undefeated regular season conference slate in 2022, winning the regular season title.
SENIORS
Utah enters the 2023 season with eight seniors on the roster, including
Branden Wilson,
Samuel Cambere,
Cole Brams,
Zack Johns,
Ruben Santana,
Zach Chandler and
Dominic Mata. Wilson, Santana and Cambere have played in the most games on the team with Wilson seeing action in 52, Santana appearing in 54 and Cambere playing in 58.

The Utes will play seven total road games this season, traveling 8.771.4 miles during the regular season.
