- In Utah's first-ever Super Regional appearance, the Utes set a new Dumke Family Softball Stadium attendance record of 2,723. It was Utah's first sellout since 2017.
- Utah is 40-14 overall this season, the most wins in a season since 2006 (41-20).
- Utah trailed 2-0 in the first inning, the first time in the NCAA Tournament this season they have trailed in a game.
- Junior Sophie Jacquez tied her longest hitting streak of the season today, earning a hit in eight straight games.
- Freshman Abby Dayton has now reached base in 16-consecutive games, tying the longest streak for any Ute this season with Aliya Belarde.
- Senior Haley Denning finished the game with two hits, her 22nd multi-hit game this season.
- Denning is also on a seven-game hitting streak.Â
- San Diego State is 18-4 when scoring in the first inning, 27-5 when they score first overall and are 36-6 when leading at any point in the game.
- Junior Jillian Celis scored her 42nd run of the season in the first inning, which moves her into a tie for the fifth most runs scored in a season in SDSU history.
- Junior Makena Brocki is on a five-game hitting streak, also securing her 11th multi-hit game this season with two against the Utes.
- Sophomore AJ Murphy posted her fifth multi-RBI game of the season today.
- Sophomore Bella Espinoza also notched her 17th multi-hit game of the season.
