SALT LAKE CITY – The 19
th-ranked Utah Volleyball team celebrated Senior Day with a 3-0 (25-16, 25-19, 25-21) sweep of the Cincinnati Bearcats in their final regular season home match from the Jon M. Huntsman Center. The Utes tallied their third consecutive sweep on their home floor and the 14
th sweep of the season. With this win, Utah improves to 23-5 on the season and 13-5 in Big 12 action.

The two sides were stuck in a back-and-forth battle through the early going. The Utes collected kills from
Kamryn Gibadlo,
Allie Olsen and
Rianne Vos, finding some separation and taking a 6-3 lead. Putting together a 4-0 run, Utah found kills from Gibadlo, Olsen and
Emrie Satuala, as the Utes extended their lead to 15-7. Utah closed out the set with a commanding 4-0 run, sparked by a block from
Lauren Jardine and
Amelia Van Der Werff, with Jardine adding kills to help the Utes put away the set, 25-16.

Utah was locked in a stalemate with the Bearcats to start set two, as neither team could break past a two-point advantage. The Utes put together a five-point run, gaining a 14-11 lead, getting kills from Gibadlo, Olsen and Jardine, with
Claranne Fechter adding an ace. Down the stretch, Utah put together another four-point run, getting kills from Jardine and Vos, helping extend the advantage to 21-16. Holding strong on the defensive front, Utah got a big block from Jardine and Olsen to help secure the second set, 25-19.

In the third set, Utah and Cincinnati remained deadlocked as the Utes could only hold a two-point advantage over the Bearcats, at 7-5 and 9-7. Utah found some separation, posting a four-point run and jumping ahead 17-12, featuring kills from Bailey and Olsen. The Utes continued to add to their advantage with another rally later in the set, as the senior duo of Olsen and Vos provided kills, putting Utah up 21-16. Utah sealed the sweep, getting a kill from Satuala, securing the 25-21 third set win.

STANDOUT STATS
- Lauren Jardine put away a team-high 14 kills, finishing the afternoon with a .560 hitting percentage on 25 attack attempts without an error.
- Rianne Vos posted 11 kills, finishing in double figures for the sixth time this season. Â
- Allie Olsen led the defensive effort at the net with six blocks. She finished the day leading the Utes with a .583 hitting percentage, putting down eight kills on 12 swings with one error.
- Amelia Van Der Werff and Jardine added five blocks each on the defensive front for the Utes.
- Claranne Fechter and Kamry Bailey led Utah in digs with 12 apiece.
- In the second set, Vanessa Ramirez moved into second place for all-time career digs for Utah. She finished the match with six digs total and currently has 1,613 digs for a career.
- Dishing out the assists for Utah were Isabelle Marco (19) and Grace Hammond (18).
UP NEXT
Utah will make one final road trip of the regular season, traveling to Iowa State for a midweek showdown with the Cyclones on Wednesday, Nov. 27 at 4 p.m. MT.
