MEET WEEK
Fourth-ranked Utah Gymnastics continues conference action on the road, traveling to eighth-ranked UCLA for a Presidents Day Pac-12 top 10 showdown. Utah and UCLA compete at 3:30 p.m. MT at Pauley Pavilion on Monday, Feb. 19. The Utes and Bruins will be televised on ESPN2 with Bart Conner and Sam Peszek on the call.
IN THE RANKINGS
Utah remains fourth in the nation for the third week in a row, using the season average scores. The Utes ranked among the top 10 programs in each event for the sixth consecutive week. The staple event for the Red Rocks program continues to be their beam performances as Utah ranks second in the nation for the second consecutive week. Utah has put together a 'dance party' with their floor routines, ranking fourth. Remaining in the top 10, Utah comes off their best outing on bars scoring a season-high 49.575 on the apparatus and ranking ninth in the nation. The Red Rocks vault squad comes in at #10 in the nation.Â
QUICK STICKS
• For the fifth meet this season, Utah has swept the top spot of the podium with wins against Boise State, Arizona State, the Best of Utah, Oregon State, and most recently Washington.
• After three event wins at Washington,
Grace McCallum is leading the Red Rocks with nine event wins on the season, adding her fifth victory on bars against the Huskies.

Maile O'Keefe added her eighth win of the season, with three beam wins, three floor wins and most recently adding her second win on bars.Â
• After announcing her intentions to return to international competition in pursuit of the 2024 Olympics in Paris,
Amelie Morgan made her first appearance on vault for the Red Rocks. She would also score a 9.90 on beam for the second competition in a row.Â

Maile O'Keefe cemented her legacy in the Utah Gymnastics record books moving into a share of the top spot for career 10.0 scores with Theresa Kulikowski at 14, after earning her third perfect 10.0 score on beam of the season against Oregon State.
• Utah has had a gymnast named to one of the Pac-12 weekly awards in each of the first three weeks of the season. Gymnast of the Week:

• Utah was picked to win the Pac-12 title in the Preseason Coaches Poll. Utah owns the most Pac-12 Championships among Pac-12 institutions with a league-best six Pac-12 Championships (2014, 2015, 2017, 2021, 2022, 2023).
• The Red Rocks return 16 routines from last year's third-place team, including five All-American honorees.Â
• Utah returns 16-of-24 routines from last year's third-place finish at the NCAA Championship
CHALK TALK
• Head coach
Carly Dockendorf enters her first season leading the Red Rocks program and her seventh overall. Utah's coaching staff is in its third year together as a whole, with
Jimmy Pratt and
Myia Hambrick returning to assist Dockendorf.
• The Red Rocks have hit 134 of 144 routines throughout the beginning of the 2024 season
• Utah is coming off its fourth consecutive Pac-12 Regular Season Championship, third-straight and sixth Pac-12 Championship, and an NCAA Regional title.
• Utah has five individuals in the top 25 of separate events including;
Abby Paulson (T3/beam),
Makenna Smith (T12/vault, 22nd/all-around),
Grace McCallum (T6/bars, T18/floor, 20th/all-around).

Ella Zirbes cracked the top 25 individual rankings this week, with Morgan sitting at #25 in the beam rankings. Zirbes comes in at T10 on floor.Â
• Utah has seen four career-first victories so far this season, with

Camie Winger (vault), and
Amelie Morgan on bars.Â
STANDOUT STATS
• Utah leads the series against UCLA, owning an overall record of 63-36-1.Â
• Utah maintains a 15-9 record on the road in Los Angeles.
• Utah has eclipsed the 49-point mark in each event in every meet so far during the 2024 campaign.Â
• On the road at Washington, Utah recorded a 197.775, which was the highest regular-season road score since 2022.Â
• The Red Rocks have brought down the house with the floor routines, posting a season-high 49.600 at the Best of Utah and following up with a 49.550 against Oregon State.
• Utah set a new season-high on bars against Washington, with a 49.525.
SCOUTING UCLA

2024 Week 6 Ranking: 8th
• UCLA remained unbeaten in Pac-12 play, beating No. 18 Oregon State with a season-high road score, 197.425-196.700
• The Bruins come off a season-high 49.450 uneven bars performance in their first rotation in Corvallis. The back half of the bars rotation all hit 9.9 or better, with Margzetta Frazier earning a new season-best 9.9.
• The Bruins saw a perfect 10.0 on vault from Selena Harris, including an all-around win.
UP NEXT
The Red Rocks will return home to the Jon. M. Huntsman Center on Friday, Feb. 23, hosting Stanford University. The Pac-12 battle between the Utes and Cardinal will begin with introductions at 5:45 p.m. MT.
The meet will be live streamed on the Pac-12 Network. Utah's flagship radio ESPN 700 will also broadcast the meet live from the arena with Mike Lageschulte and Kyndal (Robarts) Pond will be on the call.
