BIG SKY, Mont. –
Mikkel Solbakken of the Utah Ski Team picked up his second individual win of the season and
Sindre Myklebust tabbed fourth as the Utes raced in giant slalom on Thursday at Big Sky Resort.
It was the final of the RMISA's three extra qualifier events this season; no team scores were kept since the event was not part of a meet. However, individual results do count toward NCAA Championships qualification.

He clocked the fastest time in today's opening run, then was seventh in the afternoon for a total time of 1:53.25. Myklebust narrowly missed the top-five in the opening run on the way to his fourth-place overall tally (1:54.07).
Three other Utes finished in the men's top-30 in
Gustav Vøllo (13
th),
Wilhelm Normannseth (T-23
rd) and
Oliver Parazette (27
th).
On the women's side,
Claire Timmermann highlighted the afternoon with the best second run in the field. It vaulted Timmerman from 11
th place at the break to a team-best sixth in the final results with a time of 1:58.26.
Kaja Norbye added a top-10 performance as well (1:58.54).
Melanie Dahlberg (23
