SALT LAKE CITY – After a 2024 season that included the program's second straight trip to the NCAA Tournament, the University of Utah softball team is ready to get back to work in the fall with an eight-game slate, which will include three contests at Dumke Family Softball Stadium.
Utah's first action of the fall will be on Sept. 19, when they'll host Salt Lake Community College at 4 p.m., followed six days later by a road matchup with the Bruins scheduled to get underway at 3 p.m.
The second home contest of the fall is scheduled for Oct. 3 against Utah Valley, with the first pitch being thrown at 4 p.m. The Utes will then embark on a road trip to St. George, Utah, where they'll meet the Utah Tech Trailblazers for a doubleheader beginning at 11 a.m. on Oct. 5 and the Southern Utah Thunderbirds at 9 a.m. on the 6th. One more road game is on the docket for Oct. 16, when Utah will meet Weber State at 4 p.m., before the Utes close out fall ball by hosting SLCC at 4 p.m. on the 24th.
All of Utah's fall ball home games will be free to the public and will give fans their first chance to see the 2024-25 edition of Utah Softball. Hogue is preparing for her 18th season leading the program and is closing in on 500 victories as Utah's head coach.
