Utes, Buffaloes set for 8:15 p.m. MT kickoff on ESPN
SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah football team returns home to Rice-Eccles Stadium for an 8:15 p.m. MT kickoff vs. Colorado on Saturday. The Utes (5-2, 2-2 Big 12) and Buffaloes (3-4, 1-3 Big 12) will meet for the 72nd time in history on the football field.

 THE NUMBERS
• Utah has won six consecutive games against Colorado in Salt Lake City and seven of the last eight meetings overall. The two programs will square off for the second time as members of the Big 12 Conference.
• The Utes lead the FBS in third down conversion percentage (57.6%). Utah was 5-for-12 on third down at then-No. 15 BYU last week, just the second time this season they have finished under 50% in a game. Â
• John Henry Daley is tied for second in the country and second in the conference in sacks, totaling 9.0 on the season for 73 yards, only 1.5 off the nation's lead. Daley is also second in the FBS in sacks per game (1.29) and is one of two Big 12 players this season with 1.0+ sack in six games.
• Daley also ranks fourth in the FBS and second in the conference in tackles for loss (12.0). He is second in the Big 12 with two forced fumbles.
 UTAH FOOTBALL: NEED TO KNOWS
• Utah is in the top 20 nationally and sits top 3 in the conference in both scoring defense and scoring offense. The Utes are allowing just 15.3 points per game (12th NCAA, 2nd Big 12) and are scoring 36.9 points per game (20th NCAA, 3rd Big 12). Â
• Utah's offensive line has paved the way throughout the first half of the season. The Utes rank 6th in the FBS and lead the Big 12 in rushing offense (245 ypg) and are 9th in the nation in sacks allowed (0.86 spg).
• The Utes' defense has been especially stout defending the pass and currently ranks 11th in the country in passing yards allowed at 155.4 yards per game. Utah is also 11th in the NCAA in team passing efficiency defense (105.89), while sitting 23rd nationally in total defense (306.1).
