SALT LAKE CITY – The Utah men's basketball team returns home to the friendly confines of the Jon M. Huntsman Center as it begins its final two-game homestand this Saturday, March 1, against Arizona State at 5 p.m. (MST).
Pete Sousa will once again be on the call on
ESPN+ and is joined by former Arizona Wildcat Corey Williams as former Runnin' Utes are welcomed back for alumni night.
ALUMNI NIGHT
Utah basketball alumni spanning several decades return to the Jon M. Huntsman Center this Saturday for alumni night and will recognize them during halftime.
AUSAR REACHES 1K
With 5:27 left in the game on Tuesday, Utah junior
Ezra Ausar recorded his 1,000th career point when he drained the first of two free-throws. The Atlanta, Ga., now joins
Gabe Madsen as the other 1,000 point scorer on the team. Ausar finished the game with 18 points and sits at 1,002 career points with at least four games remaining. The 6-8 forward has now reached double-figures in scoring 8 of the last 10 games.
DOUBLEHEADER WEEKEND
The final doubleheader day for the men's and women's basketball programs this Saturday, March 1. The women will play their final regular-season game against rival BYU starting at 1:30 p.m. (MST) before the men take the court against the Sun Devils of Arizona State.
SENIOR DAY
With senior just 5 days out, fans are encouraged to be in their seats 30 minutes prior to tip-off to help the Runnin' Utes program celebrate its six seniors on Tuesday, March 4. Tip-off against the Mountaineers is scheduled for 5 p.m. (MST). The Utah basketball program will honor
