Drew's crew is back in Salt LAX City for home opener
THE GAME The University of Utah lacrosse team returns to Salt LAX City on Saturday, Feb. 8, to host the Delaware Blue Hens at Rice-Eccles Stadium in their home opener. Face off is set for 12 p.m. MT.

COMING TO CAMPUS
Head over to the University of Utah campus to watch the Utes take on Delaware in Rice-Eccles Stadium on Saturday. Single game tickets are available here.
Fans can tailgate starting at 11 a.m. in the parking lot located directly east of the stadium.
General fan entry will be through Gate L, located on the southeast side of the stadium. Fans at the tailgate can also enter through Gate J/K on the east side.
Fans can sit on the east side of the stadium, with concessions available on the concourses.
Free parking will be available for spectators in the Guardsman Way lot, located off 500 South and Guardsman Way
UTAH LACROSSE: NEED TO KNOWS
The Utes are ranked No. 18 in the polls by USILA after their win against previously ranked No. 19 Ohio State.
Two Utes received the first ASUN weekly awards of the season: Hart earned Player of the Week, while DiPonio was named Defensive Player of the Week.
Utah is in its seventh year as a Division I program, holding an overall record of 47-34.
Head coach Andrew McMinn is in just his fourth season with the Utes and is the all-time wins leader at Utah with a record of 35-14.
Since McMinn's first season in 2022, the Utes have broken over 70 school records in just 48 games.
Two Utes received ASUN preseason awards, with junior Ryan Stines claiming a unanimous vote for preseason Attack of the Year and senior Cody Hart being named preseason Midfielder of the Year.
The Utes earned the top spot in the preseason ASUN Coaches Poll, the fourth straight year that Utah has been voted the No. 1 preseason ranking in the league.
The Utes are in their fourth season in the ASUN conference, coming off three consecutive ASUN regular season titles (2022, 2023, 2024) and back-to-back ASUN Championships (2023, 2024).
Utah finished 24th overall in the NCAA Men's lacrosse rankings for 2024.
LAST TIME OUT The University of Utah lacrosse team opened its season with a stunning 19-13 upset over No. 19 Ohio State at Ohio State Lacrosse Stadium. They secured the victory by outshooting Ohio State 43-39, with 34 shots on target, and winning 23 of 34 face offs.
Freshman Luke McNamara led the Utes with a career-high five goals and 12 shots.
Junior Tyler Kloeckl led the squad in face-offs, winning 21-of-29.
Senior Hart recorded a career-high four goals and five points.
Ohio State is the first ranked opponent Utah has taken down this season and the first ranked opponent to fall since beating No. 10 Jacksonville, 18-15, in 2023.
The win over Ohio State was the first time Utah has beat a ranked opponent in the season opener in program history and the first time the Utes have won their season opener since they defeated Bellarmine in 2020.
