SALT LAKE CITY – The Utah track & field team had a great Saturday on the track in its lone home meet with four PRs and three entries into the record books as it honored nine seniors at McCarthey Family Track & Field Classic.

The sprints crew got Utah started on the day with
Megan Rose posting a PR time of 11.85 (aa) to narrowly set a new PR by .001 and finished third overall.
Bailey Kealamakia also set a new PR and captured the heat victory for a mark of 11.88 (aa) and moved herself into sixth all-time at Utah.
Chloe Shewell closed out the race for Utah with a new PR as well, running 12.36 (aa) to win her heat.

Chloe Taylor took fourth-overall in the 400m hurdles for Utah behind a heat victory mark of 1:02.99.
Sona Kourilova made her 800m debut and finished third-overall when she crossed the finish line at 2:13.94 (aa).

Kealamakia then went out and ran the fifth-fastest time in program history when she posted a PR run of 24.02 (aa) for third-overall in the 200m dash.

Utah's 4x400m relay team of
Lela Divinity, Taylor, Shewell and
Annie Ivins closed out the day with a bang, winning the even with a time of 3:45.16 (aa).

The Women of Utah will now hit the road as the head to the Pacific Northwest for the Oregon Team Open (April 18) and Oregon Team Invitational (April 19) at the reimagined Hayward Field.
