Appearing in their fourth ASUN Tournament, the University of Utah lacrosse team will take on the Bellarmine University Knights for the semi-final round of the conference tournament on Friday, May 2. The showdown will begin at 11 a.m. MT at Rock Stadium in Jacksonville, Fla.

UTAH LACROSSE: NEED TO KNOWS
- Utah is in its seventh year as a Division I program, holding an overall record of 51-42.
- Head coach Andrew McMinn is in his fourth season with the Utes and is the all-time wins leader at Utah with a record of 39-22.
- The Utes are in their fourth season in the ASUN conference, coming off four consecutive ASUN regular season titles (2022, 2023, 2024, 2025) and back-to-back ASUN Championships (2023, 2024).
- Junior Nikko DiPonio received 2025 ASUN Defensive Player of the Year.
- Two Utes received ASUN preseason awards, with junior Ryan Stines claiming a unanimous vote for preseason Attack of the Year and senior Cody Hart being named preseason Midfielder of the Year.
- Utah earned the top spot in the preseason ASUN Coaches Poll, the fourth straight year that Utah has been voted the No. 1 preseason ranking in the league.
- Since McMinn's first season in 2022, the Utes have broken over 70 school records in just 47 games.
- Utah finished 24th overall in the NCAA Men's lacrosse rankings for 2024.
LAST TIME OUT
The Utes fell to the Air Force Academy, 16-15, in a heartbreaking overtime session, earning a share of the ASUN regular season title.
- Chase Robertson earned a new career-high in goals, marking four, after scoring a goal in the last second of regulation to force the Falcons in to overtime.
- This marked the second time this season the Utes have fallen in sudden death play.
- Tyler Kloeckl and Bryce Madden won 21-0f-33 face-offs, earning a winning percentage of 63.6%.
- At seven different points throughout the four quarters, the game was tied.
- Three Utes, Robertson, Ryan Stines and Zachary White, earned a hat trick. All marking their second or third for the season.
- Utah now sits at a 4-4 all-time record against Air Force.
ASUN AWARDS
The Utes led the ASUN with 13 All-Conference picks, including junior
Nikko DiPonio being named Defensive Player of the Year. This continues Utah's four-year streak of earning a player of the year award.

Marco Pascarella and Robertson rounded all the all-conference awards for Utah after being named to the ASUN All-Freshman team. Juniors

Zachary White were recognized on the conference Academic team for their success in the classroom and on the field.
MAD HATTERS
Seven Utes have marked down at least one hat trick this season, with two players, both underclassmen, achieving it multiple times.

Cade Faulkner is at the top, leading the Utes with four hat tricks.

AT THE TOP
Freshman
Luke McNamara is at the top of the Utah scoring roster, finding 24 points in the goal, with sophomore
Cade Faulkner close behind, marking 23 scores this season. With 20 goals and 31 assists,
Ryan Stines has tallied 51 points throughout the season, more than 20 points higher than the second-highest on the team.
HELPING HAND
Ryan Stines has accumulated 31 assists this season, ranking first in the ASUN and eighth in the nation for assists per game, averaging 2.38. The junior is two helpers away from tying the program record in single season assists.
IN THE CAGE
Junior
Colin Lenskold has faced 508 shots in the cage so far this season, tallying up 155 saves, finding a save percentage of 50.8%. Marking an odd statistic, Lenskold faced exactly 39 shots against Utah's first three opponents, and then saw 39 shots again, for the fourth and fifth time this season, at Vermont and Air Force.
