BERMERTON, Wash.- The No. 24 University of Utah Men's Golf team picked up where they left off last week at the Wohali during the first day of the Tindall at Gold Mountain Golf Club (7,179 yards/par 72).
The Utes are sitting in second place heading into Tuesday's final round after shooting 18-under through the first 36 holes.
Junior
Gabriel Palacios is leading the pack heading into the final 18 after shooting 10-under par with back-to-back rounds of 5-under (67) scores.
Fellow junior,
Sergio Jimenez, rounded out the top 10 during day one of the Tindall, posting 4-under (70), while
Davis Johnson who placed first in the Wohali, currently sits 15
th with a score of 3-under (71).
Sophomore
Adam Croix ended his first day in the Tindall 6-over (73) and
Brandon Robison broke even (74).
