OFF THE BLOCKS
The Women of Utah will have 26 athletes competing across three different states this weekend. Of the group, 16 are headed to Seattle for the UW Invitational while eight are heading to the Albuquerque, N.M., for the New Mexico Team Open while a pair of Utes will stay at home and head to the Speed & Power Meet in Logan, Utah.

Emily Junginger will make her collegiate debut in the mile while
Katarzyna Nowakowska will make her season-debut this Saturday inside Dempsey Indoor. In addition, transfer
Mackenzie Rogers will be making her debut as a Ute too.

RHODES ELEVATED
Head cross country and track & field coach
Kyle Kepler elevated
Rebecca Rhodes to associate track & field head coach to start the 2026 calendar year as she begins her fifth season here at Utah. In her 4.5 years with the team, she's produced four individual qualifiers at outdoor championship, 12 regional qualifiers, a second-team All-American and Olympian. In addition, Rhodes also guided Utah's 4x400m and 4x100m relay teams to their first-ever appearance at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships.

The Utes will get a couple weeks off before another busy weekend with the distance team returning to Dempsey Indoor for the Husky Classic while the sprints squad heads to Arkansas for the Tyson Invitational to close out the regular season and get a first-hand look at the host site for this year's NCAA Indoor Championships.
