WACO, Texas – The Utah men's basketball team wrapped up its 2025-26 regular season with a 101-75 loss against the Baylor Bears inside Foster Pavilion Saturday afternoon.
Â
Utah (10-21, 2-16 Big 12) opened the contest in rhythm, keeping pace with the Bears behind a flurry of scores from
Don McHenry and
Keanu Dawes.Â
Â
Trailing 11-9 at the 15:57 media timeout, Utah then saw its opponent rattle off a 10-0 run that pushed the score to 21-9 with 13:43 to go.
Â
Baylor (16-15, 6-12 Big 12) continued to pour on the scoring as the period progressed, connecting on an overwhelming 67.7 percent of its shots in the frame—including a stretch of 14-of-15 FG that opened the game.Â
Â
The smothering offensive output from the Bears overshadowed an otherwise efficient half from the Runnin' Utes, who hit on 54.5 percent of its attempts (12-of-22) in the period while going 5-of-8 from beyond the arc.Â
Â
Despite the concerted push on the offensive end, the Utes entered halftime trailing Baylor 53-33.Â
Â
The second stanza was akin to the first as the Bears continued to pour on the points, outscoring Utah 48-42 in the half to secure a 101-75 home victory.
Â
Despite the loss, Utah shot the ball well down the stretch, finishing the game with its highest in-conference shooting percentage of the season at 60.4 percent (29-of-48 FG).Â
Â
McHenry led the way for Utah's offense with 20 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 assists on an 8-of-12 shooting split.
