FROM THE STARTERS BLOCK
The Utes will send eight competitors to compete across five events with
Chelsea Amoah doubling up in the 200m dash and 4x100m relay. The eighth participants match the total from 2024 at the west regionals while Utah has had at least 8 participants at the regionals since 2022. Dating back to 2003, the Women of Utah have sent eight-plus competitors to the regionals 10 different times.
Â
Among the eight, Amoah,
Sona Kourilova,
Annastasia Peters,
Lindsey Peters and
Mackenzie Rogers will be making their second all-time appearance at the at the west regionals. Meanwhile,
Haley Duvall,
Matejah Mangum and
Kinzlee Riddle will be making their first appearance. Duvall and Riddle are both true freshmen while Mangum did not compete last season.
Â
Amoah is the only returner from last year's 4x100m relay team that qualified for the regionals and championships for the first time in program history. She is joined this year by Duvall, Riddle and Mangum. The quartet recently broke the school record in the 4x100m relay at the Big 12 Championships with a run of 43.69 – which was also good for a runner-up finish in the event.
Â
RUN IT BACK
Utah's
Chelsea Amoah,
Sona Kourilova,
Annastasia Peters and
Mackenzie Rogers will be running in their respective events for the second-consecutive year at the regionals. Rogers qualified in 2025 at Arkansas before transferring to Utah.

Â
BIG 12 RECAP
The Women of Utah closed out their second Big 12 Outdoor Track & Field Championships with 22 points in total for 13th-place while three individuals earned medals on top of the 4x100m relay team.
