Runnin' Utes Unveil 2026-27 Non-Conference Schedule

The 2026-27 Utah men’s basketball non-conference schedule features 12 home games and one exhibition game.
SALT LAKE CITY – The 2026-27 Utah men's basketball non-conference schedule was officially announced on Thursday and features 12 fixtures inside the Jon M. Huntsman Center along with an exhibition game against former Pac-12 foe Oregon.
This season will see Utah compete in three exhibition contests, two on the road and one at home against Oregon on Oct. 21. The Runnin' Utes will first head down to Sin City for an Oct. 7 bout against UNLV before making the return trip to Nevada on Oct. 17 before returning home to host the Ducks.
Of the 14 non-conference games, Utah will only be outside the confines of the Huntsman Center when it competes in the Charleston Classic at TD Arena in Charleston, S.C., as part of the ESPN Events tournament.

Year two of the Alex Jensen Era will officially kick off on Monday, Nov. 2, when the Runnin' Utes welcome Long Beach State for the first time since 2001. Utah will then host Towson on Thursday, Nov. 5, as the two square off for the first time in program history.
The following week the Utes host Weber State on Tuesday, Nov. 10, for the second of three games contracted between the two teams. On Saturday, Nov. 14, it will be a homecoming of sorts as Utah battles former Pac-12 rival Washington inside the Jon M. Huntsman Center to conclude the home-and-home series. Former Utah assistant coaches Tommy Connor, DeMarlo Slocum and Andy Hill will make their return to the Wasatch Front since their departures when the Huskies and Utes square off.
Utah will then entertain Eastern Washington for the second-straight year on Tuesday, Nov. 17, before heading off to Charleston, S.C., for the Charleston Classic (Nov. 20 & Nov. 22) inside TD Arena.
The Runnin' Utes then return home to the friendly confines of the Huntsman Center to start a seven-game homestand beginning with California on Wednesday, Dec. 2, to close out another home-and-home series with a former Pac-12 rival. Cal Baptist returns to SLC for another match-up on Wednesday, Dec. 9, before battling Abilene Christian on Sunday, Dec. 13.
Utah will then square off against Portland for just the third time in program history and second time in Salt Lake City on Wednesday, Dec. 16, before Sam Houston arrives for a clash on Saturday, Dec. 19. Southern Utah then makes its way into the Huntsman Center on Tuesday, Dec. 22, ahead the Christmas break before the Utes close out non-conference action against Air Force on Tuesday, Dec. 29. Utah leads the all-time series 49-14 against the former conference rivals and have not duked it out on the court since 2011.
