Eight Utes have earned All-American honors in the 39 years of the program:

Kim Turner • 2000-03 • Third team (2003)
A 6-2 middle blocker, Turner was among the top players in the country in 2003. She ranked 18th in the nation in blocks per set (1.48) and 31st in hitting percentage (.367). Turner's senior year ended with Co-Mountain West Conference Player of the Year honors for the second year in a row as she led the MWC in hitting percentage (.434) and points per set (5.61). During conference play, she had 231 kills, which set the league's single-season record. Turner ended her four years ranked first in the Utah career record books in kills (1,620), total blocks (670), block assists (589) and is now second in hitting percentage (.324).
Henderson averaged 1.67 blocks per game which ranked second in the conference and eighth nationally. Offensively, she racked up 3.59 kills per game and hit .322 for the season, checking in at third and fifth in the MWC, respectively. The 6-5 middle blocker established herself as one of the team's go-to threats, bagging double-digit kills in 25 of the 30 matches this season. Among that string is a career-best 22 kills in leading Utah to an upset victory over then-No. 6 UCLA. Her list of accolades also included AVCA all-region honors, all-MWC and MWC Player of the Week (Oct. 18).
Shelly Sommerfeldt • 2002-05 • Honorable Mention (2005)
Sommerfeldt wrapped up her 2005 campaign by winning her third all-conference award and began the postseason winning all-MWC Tournament and Tournament MVP accolades. She ranked sixth in the MWC in racking up 3.54 kills per game and hit .229 for the year and was 10th in the league in averaging 2.89 digs in addition to 0.92 blocks.
Whitney Webb • 2004-07 • Third team (2006)
Webb had a breakout season as a junior in 2006 for the Utes, averaging 3.13 kills, 2.67 digs and 1.29 blocks per set. She ranked 63rd in the nation in hitting percentage, and led all MWC outside hitters with a .344 hitting percentage. Webb was a significant factor in helping Utah lead the nation in blocks (3.71 per set) while ranking seventh in hitting percentage (.323). In addition to All-America honors, Webb was also an All-West Region and all-conference selection in 2006. She finished her career with 2.77 kills and 0.99 blocks per set.
Airial Salvo • 2005-06 • Second team (2006)
Salvo, a 6-0 outside hitter, was named the Mountain West Conference Player of the Year in 2006, averaging 4.13 kills, 3.35 digs, 0.78 blocks and 0.45 aces per set. She led the Utes and the MWC with 49 aces on the year. Salvo completed her Utah career with 3.73 kills, 0.34 aces, 2.90 kills and 0.83 blocks per set and also had a hitting percentage of .269.
