“My tip for succeeding as a student athlete would be to have a set schedule between school work and athletics. I did it by planning out my days.”
I chose Utah because I really liked the environment and I wanted to play baseball in the Pac-12. I decided to study sociology because I like learning about how people work within society and the different behaviors that come with it. Something people may not know about me is that I'm fluent in both Spanish and English.
My tip for succeeding as a student athlete would be to mange your time and have a set schedule between school work and athletics. I did it by planning out my days, with building a routine for how I am going to go about my day. Classes in the morning, practice in the afternoon, then homework and studying in the evening, mixing food in there.
I'm feeling excited about graduation because I get to start a new chapter of my life outside of school. I see myself playing baseball somewhere in five years.
