Special Teams
- ASU won the coin toss and deferred. Utah defended the South goal to begin the game.
- The Sun Devils pulled ahead 13-6 via a second quarter touchdown, marking the first time the Utes have trailed ASU since the 2021 meeting between the teams.
Offense
- Returning from injury, quarterback Cameron Rising made his third start of the season and first since the Baylor game on Sept. 7.
- Running back Micah Bernard had a season-long 13-yard reception during the second quarter.
- Bernard crossed the 100-yard rushing mark during the third quarter on a drive that ended with a six-yard touchdown for Bernard. It is his fourth 100-yard game of the season and sixth of his career.
- Bernard is the first Ute to have four 100-yard rushing games in a season since 2021 (TJ Pledger and Tavion Thomas). He is the first Ute to have three straight 100-yard rushing games on the road since Zack Moss in 2019.
- The 7 minute, 5 second scoring drive on Bernard's third-quarter touchdown was the longest TOP for a Utah scoring drive this season.
Defense
- Defensive tackle Dallas Vakalahi earned his first collegiate start.
- Fellow defensive tackle Junior Tafuna made an interception on ASU's third offensive play of the game--his second pick as a Ute and first since the Southern Utah game on Sept. 10, 2022. It was the first interception by a Utah defensive lineman since that SUU game as well.
- Linebacker Johnathan Hall had a solo sack during the first quarter; it was Hall's first since the 2023 Las Vegas Bowl when he played safety.
- Safety Rabbit Evans surpassed his career-high tackles (previously 4) during the second quarter.
- Barton's nine total tackles match his career-high, which he previously set on Oct. 21, 2023 vs. USC.
- Vakalahi set a career-high with four total tackles.
Special Teams
- Kicker Cole Becker connected on a season-long 48-yard field goal to cap off Utah's opening drive of the game.
- Becker added a 40-yarder later in the first quarter, giving him three games in the last four with multiple field goals made. It it his second game this season (at Oklahoma State) where Becker made multiple field goals of 40-plus yards.
- Becker is the first Utah kicker since Matt Gay in 2018 to have multiple games with multiple 40-yard field goals made.
- Becker now has three games this season and five in his career with three made FGs in a game.
- Becker tied his career-high with 13 points, matching his total from Utah's 2023 matchup with Arizona State.
- Becker is the first Utah kicker to connect on four field goals since Matt Gay hit six against Oregon on Nov. 10, 2018.
