- Utah won the coin toss and deferred to the second half. The Utes defended the North goal to begin the game.
- A USU touchdown late in the first quarter gave the Aggies a 7-3 lead; it marked the first time this season that the Utes have trailed in a game.

- True freshman Isaac Wilson made his first career start at quarterback. Wilson is the fifth known Utah true freshman to start at QB and first since Travis Wilson (final seven games of 2012)
- Of the five players, Wilson is the second to be from Utah (SLC native Ken Vierra started back-to-back games as a true freshman in 1981)
- Wilson completed a career-long pass of 25 yards to Dorian Singer in the first quarter; it was also a season-long reception for Singer.
- Tight end Brant Kuithe has caught a pass in 35 straight games played, it is the longest active streak by an FBS tight end.
- Running back Mike Mitchell set career-highs in both rushing yards (previously 21 vs. SUU) and career-long rush (previously 9 yards vs. SUU)
- Wide receiver Money Parks caught an 11-yard touchdown reception in the second quarter. It was Parks' second straight game with a touchdown reception. It capped off a 79-yard scoring drive, the second-longest for Utah this season.
- Parks has caught a pass in 27 straight games.
- Wide receiver Dorian Singer has a season-high receptions (previously 3 vs. Baylor).
- Tight end Caleb Lohner recorded his second career receiving touchdown late in the second quarter.
- Utah has had multiple touchdown drives in the first half of all three games this season.
- Kuithe reached 2,000 career receiving yards during the third quarter.
- Tight end Carsen Ryan made his first reception as a Ute during the third quarter. He added his first touchdown reception as a Ute later in the second half.
- On a two-point conversion in the third quarter, Wilson went to Kuithe on a shovel pass for the Utes' first successful conversion since Nov. 18, 2023.
- Running back Micah Bernard reached the 100-rushing yard mark for the second consecutive game and fourth in his career; he is the first Utah player to have back-to-back 100-yard games since Ja'Quinden Jackson in 2022 at Colorado and vs. USC in the Pac-12 Championship.
- Bernard's 64-yard rush during the fourth quarter was a career-long and the longest by a Ute since Sione Vaki had a 72-yard sprint against Cal on Oct. 14, 2023.
Defense
- Cornerback Smith Snowden made an interception for a touchback during the first quarter for Snowden's first career interception.
- Snowden, safety Rabbit Evans and cornerback Elijah Davis all set career-highs in tackles during the first half.
- Cornerback Cameron Calhoun made his first career interception, giving Utah possession with 2:57 remaining in the first half.
- The last time Utah had multiple interceptions in a game was at Baylor on Sept. 9, 2023.
- Defensive tackle Keanu Tanuvasa made his first TFL of the season.
Special Teams
- Punter Jack Bouwmeester sent a 51-yard boot during the first quarter; it was his 24th career 50-yard punt which ranks eighth in program history.
