50 Seasons of Utah Softball Celebration
HELLO FELLOW ALUMNI !!!
I am so excited for our weekend together! Here are ALL OF THE DETAILS for the celebration so you can RESERVE YOUR SPOT! I NEED you to get registered WITHIN THE WEEK! I am also asking that you reach out to your teammates to make sure they are registered as well.

My hope in planning this celebration is to offer you the opportunity to get together with ALL OF OUR UTAH SOFTBALL ALUMNI, as well as give plenty of time for you to have with YOUR SPECIFIC CLASS AND FORMER TEAMMATES! We plan to provide space to gather, in places we know you are familiar with, and expect you to go off and do your own thing during the weekend as well!

Includes: All meals (Friday banquet, Saturday breakfast before pickleball, Saturday tailgate meal, Sunday breakfast before stadium tour/alumni game)

FRIDAY NIGHT we are kicking off the weekend with a BANQUET (wear business casual or your favorite Utah Ute colors). Location TBD based on how many sign up! This is why I need you to SIGN UP NOW so we can get the appropriate space reserved for the banquet!
SATURDAY MORNING we will start with PICKLEBALL from 8-11am (tournament/open play) and will provide a continental style BREAKFAST. Come play or just watch…we have 3 courts and will have the entire place to ourselves. Location: The Kitchen Indoor Pickleball – 1273 S. 1800 W. Unit #9, Woods Cross, UT 84087.
SATURDAY we will have a TAILGATE PARTY, which will begin 2.5 hours prior to the football game. The gametime isn’t usually announced until the week of the game, so we will keep our eyes open for that time to be posted. Location: In front of the Spence & Cleone Eccles Football Center – 592 Guardsman Way, SLC, UT 84112. Many people are planning to tailgate and then head to a local pub (Flanker Kitchen & Sporting Club possibly) to watch the game all together! Others are doing their best to snag a ticket to the game however they can! Here is a link to try to secure a ticket! We are NOT providing a football ticket! Get your football tickets here.
SUNDAY at 7:00am, our current Utah Team will be running their CONDITIONING TEST, which we affectionately named “1176” (the mileage between our stadium and the WCWS stadium in OKC). We will have more info on how to help support our players after the weekend gets started…we will need a minimum of 24 alum to come at 7am to be paired with an athlete to cheer them on! Location: Dumke Family Softball Stadium – 102 S. Wasatch Drive, SLC, UT 84112.
SUNDAY at 8:30am we will be serving BREAKFAST at Dumke Stadium and will be open for you to tour the entire place. We will have the cages and the field available to warm-up for our ALUMNI SOFTBALL GAME which will start at approximately 9:30. We will be offering open batting practice in our cages for anyone who wants to turn on our machines see if they can still hit it! Come take some swings, play in the game, or just tour the place and watch all the fun…you can choose to do whatever your heart desires! We will be wrapping up around 12:00 so we don’t interfere with the soccer game and their senior day festivities.
Other things to note…WE WANT YOUR FAMILY TO JOIN US…for as many things as possible! If you pay the $90 for each of them, they can be at everything AND EAT ALL THE FOOD we serve each day! If they just want to tag along for the tailgate and the alumni game and such, then go ahead and bring them, just pack your own food if they didn’t register for a spot. We can’t have tagalongs at the banquet, but all the other spaces should be fine! Lastly, we won’t be able to “pay for individual meals” since we will have to preorder everything. I wish we could, but it won’t be possible.
