Hunt on the U
"There are a lot of reasons I chose Utah, but hearing about the positive and fun team dynamic across alpine and Nordic was one reason I wanted to attend the U. It goes without saying, but the facilities are incredible as well. Aside from the ski team, I absolutely love Utah, and after attending school in Vermont for five years, I am excited to move back out West. I love how close Salt Lake City is to the mountains, desert, airport, national parks and Park City; and I look forward to exploring the city more too."
Prior to Utah
- Skied for Burke Mountain Academy and is a member of the U.S. Ski Team (Alpine C).
- 2025 Women's Overall Nor-Am Cup winner, downhill champion and super G champion.
- Made her first World Cup start in 2026 but had the season shortened due to injury.
- Nine Nor-Am podiums in 2025, with one race victory apiece in super G and downhill.
- Raced at the 2025 FIS Junior World Championships in Italy, where Hunt placed 11th in the downhill.
- Competed at the 2024 Youth Olympic Winter Games, which included a top-13 giant slalom result.
Personal
- Parents are Jesse and Anne-Kari.
- Has two siblings, Mia and Espen.
- Mother, Anne-Kari, was a Nordic skier and All-American at Utah.
- Father, Jesse, was an All-American alpine skier at Vermont.
- Mia skied at Denver and Espen is currently a member of the Colby College ski team.
